♥ "Dancing at discos, eating cheese on toast..." ♥

Bonjour mes amies, hope you all had an immense weekend. Mine was hectic to say the least and i'm completely buried under an avalanche of work I have to do so I might be a little slow in replying to all of your lovely comments on the last post. I couldn't possibly leave you all hanging while I sort my life out so I thought i'd just do a quick outfit post to keep you going until you have my undivided attention again.

Both the nautical theme and Breton stripes have kind of been my 'thing' for spring/summer for many years now, until much to my horror and annoyance, they both became 'in this season' and knowing me and my obsession to be unique and individual at all times, I think it's time I gave them both a break, at least until another trend comes along to replace them. Still, I couldn't resist giving my favourite cardigan one last wear for a while:

  17. Ahh, don't you just hate when you signature style becomes a trend? I had that with the rock chic look. I do think Breton stripes are timeless though, so I wouldn't worry about it. Love that cute cardi!
