"I close my eyes and the flashback starts..."

Bonjour mes amies! Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend, my exams finish in 5 days and freedom is so close I can almost taste it. But it's still not quite there. It's weird because the longer exams go on, the less motivation and energy you have. I'm as ready as i'll ever be so whatever happens, happens, que sera. 


With freedom being within my grasp, and only one exam to go, I am finally going out more. Hence today's outfit which I really loved. It was swelteringly hot and I was channeling one of my all time favourite decades the1950s (as if you all didn't already know). Red isn't a colour is wear very often but I think I might do more after today. Having been deprived of it for so long, I definitely 'saw red' today in a red and white candy striped dress, red belt, red cardigan, red shoes, red and white polka dot bangle and a white and black polka dot hairband. As if I wasn't red enough I decided to stand by a red postbox - who said humans don't have to ability to camouflage?

    For some reason, I never wear much green. Every year on St. Patrick's Day, this is cause for panic. I haven't found the perfect kind of green yet, I guess.

  33. Wow, you just glow in red! Lovely accents too. Just really you, even though I understand that colors that normally don't make it on us, can feel weird and a bit uncertain to carry...

    I used to shy away from brown, now it is one of my wardrobe staples. Red remains a rare hue for me. I'm afraid of coupling it unsuccessfully with my pale skin...
